READING MUSIC is an ongoing project of the Ensemble KNM Berlin. It is based on a growing collection of compositions that use word language in very different ways to notate sounds and musical progressions. KNM interpet these pieces here not only musically but also visually in the medium of experimental film, at the same time granting the audience a comparison with the underlying “word score”.
