BAM! is the festival of Berlin’s independent music theatre scene.
BAM! is organized by the ZMB (Zeitgenössisches Musiktheater Berlin e.V.), which was founded 2015 as an association of Berlin’s scene of contemporary music theatre.
BAM!’s first edition took place in 2018 at a variety of locations in Berlin Mitte, its second in 2019 with the Berliner Volksbühne in the center.
The next edition of the festival will take part between 7th and 10th of April 2022 at Berliner Volksbühne, Ballhaus Ost, Acker Stadt Palast, Kirche and Villa St. Elisabeth and with site-specific performances in the “Spandauer Vorstadt” in Berlin-Mitte. The folowing edition of the festival is planned for fall 2023.
