During two days, the “Club der polnischen Versager” will become an INTERZONE, a passage and relaxation area for festival guests. The “retro futuristic” duo gamut inc focusses on re-staging concepts of romantic music theater with the help of electroacoustic sounds and the latest lighting technology. They are joined by the ensemble Zinc & Copper, which is dedicated to exploring new musical paths for brass. Beach chairs are available for the public. Improvising, the five musicians work on decelerated motifs from the repertoire of romantic opera, from which they develop finely spun microtonal textures and deep drones. The foggy room is permeated with flowing scenographic sculptures, reminiscent of forests, mountain ravines, seascapes – topoi of a romantic aesthetic of the sublime.
