Annalisa Derossi’s TanzRoute takes a winding path from the Volksbühne to the nearby Acker Stadt Palast. You must bring your own smartphone with headphones. Derossi calls this action a Kiezspaziergang (neighborhood walk), leading through the largely gentrified area of Berlin Mitte, where little else than the Acker Stadt Palast still tells of days of upheaval and social experimentation. Connected via QR code to a soundtrack that interprets and blends with the soundscape of the city, the audience wander through several stations. Not only with Derossi, the dancer, but also with Derossi, the pianist and composer, it becomes known.
